Business Development Co-ordinator
At VWV we pride ourselves in providing quality legal advice and ensuring that our clients are at the centre of all that we do. How we market our legal services and brand reputation rests in the capable hands of our inhouse colleagues in our Marketing & BD Department. We are excited to be recruiting a new Business Development Co-ordinator to join the team on a full time basis in Bristol.
Is This Your Next Career Move?
As the BD Co-ordinator, you'll have a vital role in fostering and developing existing client connections while actively contributing to the expansion of our business. Collaborating closely with our VWV Approach Partner, you will pinpoint new prospects, cultivate client relationships, and play a key role in advancing the growth of VWV Approach and overall business development within the firm. This role encompasses a combination of relationship management, engagement with both internal and external clients, and handling administrative responsibilities. We are seeking an individual with a flexible, optimistic, and proactive mindset to excel in this position.
So Who Are We Hoping Will Apply?
You'll have a strong academic background, ideally bringing experience from a law firm or professional services environment, although this isn't a deal breaker. You'll have excellent organisational abilities, precision, and attention to detail. The role requires a quick grasp of legal terminology and the capability to build a comprehensive understanding of the firm, its staff, and clients. This includes familiarity with the expertise of our legal teams across various areas of law.
You'll demonstrate proficiency in managing and prioritising a diverse workload, with the flexibility to adapt as needed. Strong networking skills are essential, as is a solid foundation in IT, particularly in maintaining databases, managing Excel spreadsheets, and handling shared inboxes in Outlook. Effective professional communication, both in writing and verbally, is crucial when interacting with clients and legal teams regarding legal enquiries.

We're striving to be an inclusive employer, to create a workplace and environment that promotes and values diversity, where everyone, regardless of background, can reach their full potential. Where Will I Be Working?
At VWV we have a truly unique and engaging culture that we hold dear. We work hard but we also love to have fun and we recognise that it's the social interaction between us that really embeds our culture. Whilst this unusual time has proved we can work effectively as a business from home, we're currently working to a hybrid model of office and home working. We have a "grown-up" working culture and try to be flexible and agile in the way we work. We anticipate you'll be in the Bristol office 2-3 days per week beyond the initial training period.
