About the Apprenticeship
As an apprentice, you'll learn how to develop and maintain scalable data solutions that enable data-driven decision-making across our firm. Working under the mentorship of experienced professionals, you'll:
- Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to understand their data needs.
- Gain hands-on experience with data lakes, ETL pipelines, and cloud technologies.
- Build your skills in Power BI to craft interactive dashboards and impactful visualisations.
From the start, you'll work alongside senior team members to learn about our data systems and infrastructure, including how to optimise data storage, transformation, and retrieval processes. With guidance, you'll contribute to creating data pipelines and will develop a keen eye for detail and accuracy in all reporting and analysis.
As your skills grow, you'll take on more responsibility, including:
- Designing and maintaining data visualisations that help teams make informed decisions.
- Structuring data for easy access and analysis.
- Creating a library of datasets and configurations for future use.
This apprenticeship is a structured 18 month opportunity to develop your technical expertise, supported by a clear learning plan and regular mentorship, ensuring you gain the skills and experience to succeed in the field of business intelligence and data engineering.
About You
This apprenticeship is designed for individuals who are enthusiastic about learning and developing their skills in data and technology. To succeed in this role, you should:
- Be passionate about data, technology, and problem-solving.
- Have a strong interest in business intelligence and data visualisation.
- Have a Level 3 Qualification (Apprenticeship/A Levels/BETC etc) OR equivalent work experience (typically 2 years in a relevant role)
- 5 GCSEs including Maths and English at Grade 4 (C) or above
