Events Assistant

As a leading law firm known for being insight-led and client-focused, we know that events play a crucial role in how we connect with our clients and communicate our expertise. Whether it's a seminar, webinar, or networking event, each interaction is a chance to build trust, deliver value, and make a lasting impression.

We're now looking for an enthusiastic and highly organised Events Assistant to join our Business Development and Marketing team in London. This is a great opportunity for someone at the early stage of their events or marketing career who wants to gain hands-on experience and contribute to a wide variety of client-facing events.

About The Role

At VWV, we know that great events do more than just bring people together—they create lasting impressions and strengthen relationships. We're now looking for an enthusiastic and highly organised Events Assistant to join our team in London. In this role, you'll support the planning, coordination and delivery of a wide range of events—from seminars and webinars to roundtables, networking events and conferences. Working closely with colleagues across the firm, you'll help ensure each event runs smoothly, meets our high standards, and reflects the professionalism our clients expect.

You'll be involved at every stage—from venue sourcing and invitation management to on-the-day logistics and post-event follow up. You'll play a vital part in the success of our events calendar, keeping things running behind the scenes while supporting client-facing activities. This is a hands-on role that offers real variety, and a great opportunity to gain experience in a busy, collaborative marketing and business development team.

About You

You're someone who thrives on staying organised, solving problems before they arise and keeping the details in check—even when juggling multiple tasks at once. You have at least a year of experience in events, marketing or client service, and you're ready to take the next step in a supportive and fast-paced environment.

You're confident using Microsoft Office and Zoom, and ideally have some experience with CRM systems. You're also a strong communicator—calm under pressure, proactive, and always professional when dealing with colleagues, clients or suppliers. Whether you're taking event briefs, managing RSVPs or coordinating logistics on-site, you bring a positive attitude and a focus on getting things done right.

If you're passionate about creating great client experiences, enjoy working as part of a collaborative team, and are happy to occasionally work outside of standard hours to support events, we'd love to hear from you.
