Front of House Assistant - Hospitality

Are you someone who takes pride in creating an exceptional first impression? We're looking for a professional and welcoming Front of House Assistant with a hospitality focus to join our team in Bristol. As the first point of contact for visitors and callers, you'll play a key role in representing VWV, offering a warm, friendly, and professional welcome to everyone who steps through our doors or gets in touch.

About The Role

As a Front of House Assistant, you'll play a key role in creating a welcoming and professional environment. Your day-to-day tasks will include processing and confirming meeting room bookings, setting up and managing meeting spaces, and ensuring hospitality areas are clean, tidy, and well-stocked with refreshments. You'll also support the hosting of events by greeting guests, assisting with IT queries, and ensuring everything runs smoothly from start to finish. Additionally, you'll handle incoming deliveries, raise any concerns where appropriate, and carry out other reasonable tasks as directed by your Team Lead or Manager.

This role is ideal for someone who genuinely enjoys the hospitality side of front-of-house work and takes pride in delivering great service. Please note that there is an expectation for flexibility, with some early starts and evening finishes required to support events and business needs.

In return for your hard work and dedication, you'll be part of a welcoming and supportive team where your role really matters. You'll be working in a professional environment where high standards are valued, and you'll be encouraged to bring your best self to work every day.

About You

You're someone who naturally puts people at ease, with a positive attitude and a genuine desire to help others. You've worked in a hospitality or a front of house role before, so you know what great service looks like – and you take real pride in delivering it every time.

You're a strong communicator, well presented, and comfortable juggling a few things at once without getting flustered. You're happy using Microsoft Office and email, and you're quick to learn new systems. Most of all, you're a team player who brings energy, enthusiasm, and a can-do approach to whatever the day brings.

If you're looking for a role where you can make a real difference every day – and be part of a supportive, professional team – we'd love to hear from you.
