HR Administrator

Are you an administrator with a keen interest in HR?  Perhaps you're looking for that first step in your HR career.  From welcoming new starters during induction, supporting them through probation periods, providing ongoing training and development to help them achieve their career goals and everything in between, our HR Department provide a first class service to the firm.  If you're highly organised, thrive in a varied and fast paced environment and love interacting with people, then this could be the perfect match.

As a valued member of the wider HR Team, you'll attend virtual weekly HR meetings where discretion is key, exposure to these confidential HR related matters will naturally develop your knowledge in not just HR, but recruitment and learning & development as you listen to updates and discussions from more experienced members of the team.

You'll focus on areas such as setting up and maintaining accurate HR records, answering a wide range of questions from colleagues and supporting the HR team with a variety of administrative work.

What a fantastic opportunity to really get to know the ins and outs of a legal sector HR function, as well as build relationships with employees at all levels across the firm.

Where Will I Be Working?

Prior to the pandemic, we'd made a commitment to our approach in respect of flexible working requests, being open to new ways of working that enabled everyone to work more effectively.  We've recently enjoyed being able to increase time working from our offices. We work hard but we also have fun, making the most of virtual and real-life social interaction.

Ideally this role will be based primarily in either our Bristol or Watford office, but we are open to discussion about the location. We're establishing an effective hybrid working approach across the team, combining office working with utilising technology to support remote working and collaboration across locations.

Your previous administrative experience will certainly come in handy.  Perhaps you're looking for your first break into HR, or keen to continue your HR career and simply looking for a new challenge. Whatever your background, your friendly and positive attitude will fit right in.

Your first rate communication skills, excellent attention to detail and strong work ethic is just what we're looking for.  Prioritising your work, you'll manage a busy  and varied workload of regular activities and ad hoc tasks.  You'll handle confidential and sensitive matters which understandably requires professionalism and discretion.
