HR Data Analyst
Are you looking for a role that will make the most of your numerical and analysis skills? You may be an experienced HR administrator looking to specialise, or you may already have the knowledge and skills to bring to a new area. With an ambitious growth strategy high on the agenda, we're looking to expand our People Team with an exciting new role for someone with exceptional IT skills and the ability to help securely manage and analyse people data.
You'll focus on areas including our HR database, payroll processes and people reporting/analytics. Ensuring we have accurate and up-to-date employee records, you'll become an expert on our HR database and share your skills with our People team and colleagues across the business. Responding to a range of queries and producing regular and ad hoc reports will be an essential part of your role. You'll play a key role in our monthly payroll processes, generating and checking records. With your help, we can crack on with that all important task of streamlining and improving our reporting to support the People team and add value for our managers in the firm.
Is This Your Next Career Move?
You've already developed excellent IT skills, in particular database administration and advanced Excel ability. Your exceptional attention to detail and the ability to ensure accuracy across many different data sources will be second nature. You've a clear understanding of the confidentiality requirements of working with people data, including GDPR. You're happy learning new systems, and will be able to look for ways we can further develop our systems, processes and consider options for automation.
Taking a collaborative approach, you'll be curious to quickly understand our business and culture, to offer tailored and practical HR support. Our People team are flexible and open, balancing ongoing business priorities with projects for improvement. Having good data and being able to interpret it effectively underpin the people service and value we can deliver to colleagues and the whole firm.

Where Will I Be Working?

We try to be flexible and agile in the way we work. For this opportunity you'll be expected to work from our modern and recently refurbished Bristol office around two or three days a week.
So Who Are We Hoping Will Apply?
You'll already have a good range of IT and HR skills, including handling confidential and sensitive matters professionally and with discretion. Able to prioritise effectively, you'll manage a workload of regular and ad hoc tasks, alongside proactive project work. Excellent communication skills in writing and in person are a must. Your confidence with technology including HR databases, spreadsheets and analysis will be matched by a willingness and ability to develop your own and your colleagues' skills.
