IT Business Analyst

Are you a proactive IT Business Analyst looking for a career-defining role in a dynamic, forward-thinking law firm? VWV is on a transformative journey to modernise its business operations and drive unprecedented levels of productivity and profitability through cloud migration and innovative process redesign. Join us as an IT Business Analyst and become an integral part of this strategic shift, where you'll lead initiatives that reshape how we operate and engage with technology, ultimately supporting our mission to deliver best-in-class legal services.

About the Opportunity

In this role, you'll be the cornerstone of our project delivery team, directly influencing how our legal and finance departments work with technology. As we embrace a new era of business process improvement, we're looking for someone with the passion and expertise to build seamless workflows, modernize critical systems, and be the vital link between our technical experts and end-users. This is more than an analysis role, it's an opportunity to help shape our firm's future.

As a IT Business Analyst at VWV, you'll have a rare opportunity to collaborate directly with stakeholders from legal and finance, gaining insight into their workflows and pinpointing how technology can optimise processes to make their work faster, more accurate, and more rewarding. You'll lead workshops that bring teams together, gather diverse business requirements, and design processes that set new standards for efficiency and data integrity.

Your analytical skills will shine as you evaluate and reimagine existing workflows and compare them to industry best practices, identifying areas where we can streamline, automate, and improve. From data quality issues to software integrations, you'll encounter meaningful challenges that test your problem-solving abilities and give you the chance to make a tangible impact. As you work, you'll be a crucial communicator, breaking down complex technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders and aligning everyone on the benefits of each solution.

About You

You're a motivated, analytically-minded  professional with experience in business process improvement and a track record of successful solution rollouts, such as CRM, PMS, or ERP implementations. Ideally, you'll bring knowledge of the UK legal accounting lifecycle and cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. But beyond technical skills, we're looking for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment, can manage change seamlessly, and is excited by the opportunity to translate business needs into strategic technology solutions.

In this role, your strong written and verbal communication skills will set you apart. You're adept at creating clear documentation, reports, and presentations and have the ability to break down technical solutions for non-technical audiences. Your sharp analytical mind allows you to evaluate business needs, spot process inefficiencies, and design innovative solutions that move our firm forward. Teamwork and adaptability are crucial, as is a customer-centric approach that keeps the needs of end-users front and center. Finally, you have the time management skills to thrive in a dynamic environment, meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality work that aligns with our broader objectives.
