Marketing Executive

At VWV, we're proud of the relationships we build with our clients and the quality of the work we deliver. Our Marketing team helps bring our expertise and brand to life, connecting us with the right people and supporting the firm's growth.

We're looking for a talented Marketing Executive to join our friendly and collaborative Business Development and Marketing department. If you're a confident writer, enjoy coming up with ideas and like combining creativity with data and insight, we'd love to hear from you.

Is This Your Next Career Move?

As a Marketing Executive, you'll work with colleagues across the firm to deliver a wide range of marketing activity supporting our sectors, services and strategic priorities.

You'll get involved in campaigns, content, social media, email marketing, events and thought leadership, working closely with our Business Development team to understand our audiences and create engaging, targeted activity.

Content will be an important part of the role, with opportunities to write for our website, social media, newsletters and other marketing materials. You'll also use data and campaign results to understand what's working, identify areas for improvement and make recommendations for future activity.

We're keen to try new things, so you'll also have the opportunity to get involved in A/B testing and our test-and-learn approach to marketing.

Day to day, you'll:

  • Plan and deliver marketing campaigns across digital and traditional channels.
  • Create engaging content for websites, social media, email, newsletters and events.
  • Work with Business Development and sector teams to identify opportunities and develop targeted activity.
  • Monitor campaign performance and use data to make recommendations.
  • Support events, webinars, networking and thought leadership initiatives.
  • Manage email marketing activity alongside the Digital team.
  • Help manage sponsorship activity and maximise its value to the firm.
  • Provide guidance and support to our Marketing Assistant.

It's a varied role, so you'll need to be comfortable managing multiple projects, adapting when priorities change and working at pace. Being organised, flexible and positive will be key.

Who Are We Hoping Will Apply?

We're looking for someone with at least two years' marketing experience who is confident taking ownership of their work and enjoys working collaboratively.

You'll ideally have experience within professional services, although this isn't essential. What matters most is that you have a good understanding of marketing and can demonstrate experience using different channels to engage audiences and achieve results.

We're particularly interested in someone with:

  • Experience across marketing channels including content, social media, email, campaigns and events.
  • Strong copywriting and communication skills.
  • The ability to use data and insight to understand performance and improve activity.
  • Experience managing multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Confidence working with a range of stakeholders and building positive relationships.
  • A proactive and flexible approach, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience using CRM systems and marketing automation tools.

Line management experience would be a bonus, as you'll provide support and guidance to our Marketing Assistant.

A degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or a related subject would be advantageous. Knowledge of graphic design or experience using design software would also be helpful, but isn't essential.

Most importantly, we're looking for someone who is creative, curious, organised and commercially minded, with plenty of enthusiasm for marketing and a desire to make things better.
