Senior Events Executive
At VWV, we believe meaningful client relationships are built through insight, trust and a commitment to excellence—values that lie at the heart of everything we do. Events play a key role in how we bring these values to life. Whether through engaging webinars, strategic roundtables or high-impact networking functions, we use events to share our expertise, spark connections, and add real value for our clients.
We're now looking for an experienced Senior Events Executive to join our Business Development and Marketing team in Bristol on a 9-month fixed-term contract. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is confident managing end-to-end event delivery and wants to make an immediate impact in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.
About The Role
9 month fixed term contract.
As Senior Events Executive, you'll lead the delivery of a varied and busy events calendar across the firm, working closely with sector teams, business development, and senior stakeholders. From concept to completion, you'll manage a wide range of events—from professional seminars and client networking evenings to webinars, roundtables, and internal events—ensuring each one runs smoothly, meets objectives, and reflects the professionalism of the VWV brand.
You'll be responsible for managing logistics, briefing suppliers, coordinating with venues, managing invitations and RSVPs, and supporting post-event communications and evaluation. You'll also take the lead on some of our flagship events, where creativity, precision and stakeholder engagement are essential.
In this role, you'll contribute to strategic planning, help refine our events processes, and ensure our approach is aligned with brand guidelines and business goals. You'll also support more junior members of the team, providing guidance and sharing best practice where needed.
About You
You're a confident events professional with at least three years' experience in a similar role, ideally within a professional services or B2B environment. You're calm under pressure, highly organised and used to managing multiple events at once with competing deadlines. Whether you're working independently or as part of a wider team, you bring a proactive mindset, a keen eye for detail and a passion for delivering polished, well-executed events.
You're experienced in working with CRM systems and digital platforms such as Zoom and Microsoft Office, and confident communicating with stakeholders at all levels. You enjoy problem-solving, keeping things on track, and finding ways to continually improve how things are done. You're also happy to occasionally work flexibly to support events outside of standard office hours.
If you're looking for a short-term opportunity to take ownership of exciting projects and deliver memorable experiences that make a real impact, we'd love to hear from you.
