Talent Acquisition Administrator

Finished studying and wondering what's next? Want to earn while gaining experience in a professional environment? If you're organised, confident with IT and keen to learn, we'd love to hear from you.

About the opportunity.

We're looking for a Talent Acquisition Administrator to join our in-house talent acquisition team on a six-month fixed-term contract. Ideally this will be on a full time basis, but we're happy to hear from you if you're looking for part-time hours or a flexible working arrangement. We're a hybrid firm, so you'll spend at least two days a week in the office, with the flexibility to work from home on your other working days.

You'll get a behind-the-scenes view of recruitment at a law firm, you'll play an important role helping us to find and welcome new starters across VWV. From posting vacancies and arranging interviews to answering candidate queries and helping new starters get ready for their first day, you'll be key to that fantastic first impression of VWV in making everyone's experience a positive one.

You'll keep our applicant tracking systems and records up to date, help with new starter paperwork and checks, and support the team with events, social media and projects. There's plenty of variety, and you'll have the most supportive team on hand to show you how things work and help you build your confidence.

Take a look at the job description to find out more about what you'll be doing day to day.

About you.

Perhaps you've just graduated and you're exploring your options, or you've finished your A levels or equivalent and you're looking to earn and gain experience during a gap year. You might already have some admin experience and be looking for a short-term opportunity. Whatever your route, we'd love to hear what you'd bring to our team.

You'll be organised, comfortable keeping track of tasks and deadlines, and someone who takes pride in getting the details right. You'll need a good basic working knowledge of Outlook, Word and Excel, along with the confidence to pick up new IT systems quickly. You'll also be comfortable working with numbers and checking information for accuracy. With clear written and verbal communication skills and a friendly, helpful manner, you'll enjoy working with others and understand the importance of handling personal information discreetly. Above all, you'll bring a positive attitude, a willingness to learn and the confidence to ask questions when you need a hand.

Previous experience in admin, recruitment or professional services would be a bonus, as would familiarity with an applicant tracking system, but these aren't essential. We'll provide training on our recruitment systems and processes, and you're welcome to draw on examples from your studies, part-time work, volunteering or other commitments to show us your skills. You don't need a degree or previous office experience to apply.
